Hesselby Slott’s dreams of music

In Hesselby castle, music runs through the veins. The legendary Swedish singer-songwriter Bellman once performed at this estate when it first opened in 1650. Tomas Ledin, the singer who owns Hesselby castle, has converted it into a unique hotel. Various “artist rooms” have been designed in the hotel by Pernilla Wahlgren, Roger Pontare, and Arja Saijonmaa.

In the summer, the baroque landscaped gardens host an occasional folk music festival. Visitors who want to record their own music are welcome to use the castle’s music studio.

By subway, you can get there in 15 minutes, and all modes of transportation are available. There are all kinds of functions held at the manor house, including weddings and conferences.

We offer a variety of packages that combine accommodations, dining, and activities to suit every taste.

Wonderland of Sweden Ulfsunda castle

Ulfsunda castle was built in 1644, which makes it one of Sweden’s oldest stately homes. The castle has been occupied by several titled families over the years. Since 2000, this fascinating region’s manor house has served as a beautiful hotel, with an apple garden on the grounds. Each of the 54 rooms and suites in the hotel is decorated in a contemporary style, and a casual restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

There is plenty of entertainment at Ulfsunda castle for the guests. There are a variety of activities, including wine tasting and murder mystery games. Only a few kilometers from central Stockholm, the castle is located on the shores of Lake Mälaren. Cycling from the city center takes about 30 minutes.

The manor houses of Göteborg

The Thorskogs Grand Manor House is an oasis of calm and luxury

There is a charming feel to Thorskogs Grand Manor House (Thorskogs Slott), which is about 40 kilometers north of Gothenburg.

This elegant manor house dates back to 1249 when King Haakon Haakonson the Elder of Norway and Sweden’s Birger Jarl signed a peace treaty between their nations (it didn’t last).

Unlike the parklands of England, the parklands of the 18th century boast rare trees and shrubs. From the grounds, you can easily access the Svartedalen nature reserve, which boasts several hiking trails. In addition to its peaceful surroundings, this peaceful terrain contains lakes ideal for swimming or canoeing, as well as a golf course nearby. Many activities can be enjoyed on the castle grounds and in the impressive manor house. We tailor Thorskogs Grand Manor’s services to the individual tastes of our guests so that they have an unforgettable stay.
